1. The air-shaped lamp
It’s not hard to deduce the inspiration from this piece of art which is also supposed to be a design for an actual lamp. Many of us would have had fond memories of blowing bubbles through circular devices, sometimes screaming with delight as each fleeting sphere floated and then burst. There is something otherworldly about the bubbles as they display the different colors of the rainbow on their translucent surfaces
Why is this remarkable?
It is this emotion that the design of the Air-Shape concept tries to capture in an almost ethereal way. It’s as if the bubble is frozen in time, frozen at the moment of its birth where it wobbles and quivers against the gentle winds until it takes on its final spherical shape.
What we like
- Has an element of uncertainty and fragility that also sends a message of potential and birth
- The Air-Shape lamp can be hung in different ways

2. BEEF
To elevate the pleasure of reading to a level where a book itself is the light source, BOOF deserves a mention! Shaped like a house, the reading lamp basically sits on a metal disc, but the fun is added when you place a book on its roof. BOOF, the lamp lights up, embodying the appearance of a house lit up at night.
Why is this remarkable?
The subtle light from the window and the ground floor of the house lights up when the book is placed on it. Here, the triangular roof serves as a natural bookmark for the book you place on it. The light is soft and uplifting, allowing you to focus on the handwriting you’re flipping through in the dark ambience of your room.
What we like
- Blends in with room decor

3. The +CLOCK
Landing the coveted Red Dot Design Concept Award in the Best of Best category, the +CLOCK is a pill dispenser and vending machine that works like a clock but dispenses pills at the user-defined time.
Why is this remarkable?
The +CLOCK is not just a clock. It’s more of a habit-forming device that also tells the time, hence the name +CLOCK for the fact that it’s also a clock. The gadget sits on any bedside table and looks comparable to the Tmall Genie Queen smart mirror. Beneath its large clock face is a carousel with 28 slots for daily medications.
What we like
- You can enter medications based on days or time of day, with the ability to fill in up to 28 slots
- Helps you get into the habit of taking your medications

4. MAGEPAN
MAGEPAN is a concept for a small box that frees this outlet from these limitations. It’s small enough to put in your bag or even put in your pocket. And although it was designed specifically for the bedside socket, its design lends itself well to other purposes.
Why is this remarkable?
In a nutshell, it’s a wireless magnetic charger whose body plugs directly into a power outlet, eliminating the middle of a long cord. Although it may not make sense in normal cases where these outlets are far apart, hotel rooms are filled with such facilities which are not used much due to their location.
What we like
- The charger has a handy nightlight that will keep you from fumbling around in the dark

5. The Ultimate Hariana Tech Smart Bed

The audio system also includes an SD card slot, an auxiliary port and a USB port. Another neat detail of the Hariana bed is a password protected safe so you can store your most valuable things – for me that would be my passport and my snacks!
Why is this remarkable?
You know how we always have to get up to get stuff before we settle into relaxation mode? Well, this bed was designed to have everything you’ll need to relax in your bed frame. It’s the ultimate bed to relax in after a long day at work!

What we don’t like
- High price
- Not suitable for homes with space constraints
6. The Tablecloth Side Table
This side table looks like a modern sculpture that captures the soft curves and surfaces like a tablecloth falling into place.
Why is this remarkable?
Tables are meant to be stable to be useful, but the Tablecloth side table seems to elicit contrasting images of stability and fluidity. While most tables have four legs for symmetrical balance, the tablecloth only has three. Its metallic surface gives it a rigid appearance, but its curved edges almost give the illusion of movement. Even the shape of the legs, which tapers sharply towards the feet, is one that is associated with dynamism or even imbalance.
What we like
- Represents a fallen piece of fabric
- A unique take on ordinary furniture

7. The bed hanger bracket
This interesting concept brought to light is the Bed Hanger Rack, which, as the name suggests, is an extension of the open cabinet concept. It attaches to the bed and offers space to hang clothes and holders to store smartphones, remotes, game consoles and other accessories that you would like to have close at hand in bed.
Why is this remarkable?
In addition to hanging storage and shelf extensions, the hanger rack becomes a little more interesting with its assembly: possible to match the layout of your room. The support can be installed along the shorter front or the longer side of the bed; so that it can be fixed without having to modify the location of the existing bed. Efficient use of space above the bed lets you effortlessly store everyday clothes on hangers around the bed; this way you avoid folding and sorting clothes in an ordinary wardrobe.
What we like
- Makes the whole garment management process efficient and convenient

8. Floof
Originally designed for our furry friends, the designer has created two human-sized Floofs for the perfect getaway at home, even for just a few hours. Just dive into it, alone or with a friend or a snack, and snuggle up in a hopefully comfortable position during the day.
Why is this remarkable?
Most of us had something like a fortress of solitude when we were kids, whether it was made of stacked boxes, piles of pillows, or sheets held up with strings. As we got older, we gave up these sacred places in exchange for a simple blanket and a pillow. There’s no reason not to have that cozy and comforting space again, no matter how young or old you are. That’s the very tempting proposition these “cuddle caves” make if you don’t mind looking like human inari sushi in the process. Then again, you’re trying to escape the judgmental eyes of the world anyway.
What we like
- Provides a “getaway” in your own home
- Made to vegan specifications so it can be used by everyone

This is the brand new Halo Rise sleep monitor and bedside lamp that comes just at a time when wearable sleep monitors are gaining traction in the wellness market.
Why is this remarkable?
The USP here is the fact that the Halo Rise tracks your sleep without needing to wear a smartwatch or fitness band. This will pique the interest of insomniacs who don’t like to wear gadgets overnight.
What we like
- Every micro-movement is detected, along with breathing patterns to determine sleep score

10. Moonsetter
The Moonsetter comes on the scene like a ray of sunshine… uh, moonlight in your room. It is as if the moonlight was entering through the window or through the gaps in the curtains. Either way, you don’t need too much bright light, just a little ambient lighting to set the mood for a good night’s rest.
Why is this remarkable?
The design of the lamp is timeless with its simple graphic form. This modern metal floor lamp appears like a sculpture or a work of art. It can easily be the center of attention in any room with a unique setup. It combines the basic shapes: circle, cylinder and square. The floor lamp has its own axis where a disc rotates 360 degrees. The disc has a reflective side and white on the other. It sometimes gives the illusion of soft, diffused moonlight while one side reflects direct light.
What we like
- Allows you to customize the reflection of the LED source
- The LED light is immersed in the frame, giving a beautiful effect
