The Kardashian kids are ready to take the stage.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s kids, North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, turned into great musicians for a Halloween photoshoot, and their proud mom shared behind-the-scenes footage on the TikTok account she shared with her eldest daughter on Tuesday.
The kids were all smiles as they posed for a photographer in a series of music videos on the @kimandnorth account, with North dressed as Aaliyah, Saint as Snoop Dogg, Chicago as Sade Adu and Psalm as Eazy-E.
Dressed in a miniature recreation of the red, white and blue Tommy Hilfiger look that Aaliyah wore during a 1997 campaign for the designer, North sported a puffer jacket, bandeau top and belted baggy jeans with a red leg and a blue leg, exposing the waistband of a pair of Tommy Hilfiger underwear.
North wore her hair long and straight for filming to mimic the look of the “Are You That Somebody” singer – and she’s not the only one in the family to copy the late star’s style in recent days.
To celebrate her 42nd birthday last week, Kardashian wore the iconic Dolce & Gabbana crystal mesh bra that Aaliyah sported in her “Try Again” video in 2000.
The reality star is such a fan of the R&B and hip-hop star’s work that she dressed as Aaliyah (in a different bedazzled bra) for Halloween 2017, with some people accusing her of cultural appropriation for costume choice.
Moving on to the boys, Saint had his hair done with Snoop’s signature braids, wearing a gray plaid shirt, baggy khaki pants and sneakers, while little brother Psalm sported the black ‘Compton’ cap of the late rapper Eazy-E with curls poking out underneath, adding a baggy black windbreaker and khaki pants.
Finally, Chicago rocked a double denim look to emulate Sade, wearing the same button-down shirt and jeans the “No Ordinary Love” singer showed off during a 1980 photoshoot. The tot — who also wore the braid and Sade’s gold hoop earrings – even posed with the star’s arms crossed, showing off a gold cuff bracelet, just like the one at the top of the chart.
The family went to a Halloween outing earlier this week, with Kardashian sharing some snapshots from the “Nights of the Jack” event in Calabasas, Calif., to her Instagram Story.
The evening took place a few hours after the founder of Skims denounced the anti-Semitic remarks made by her ex-husband on social networks.
“I stand with the Jewish community and call for an immediate end to the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric directed against them,” she wrote on her Instagram story Monday.
