Outlander’s Sam Heughan in a New Look at Celine Dion’s Film

Foreign actor Sam Heughan has served up a fresh take on his rom-com, love one more time.

The film formerly titled Everything comes back to me (after Celine Dion’s song), explores the question: what if a random text introduces you to the love of your life?

Heughan took to Instagram to post a photo of Jim Strouse (The Incredible Jessica James) project with her co-star Priyanka Chopra Jonas (The Matrix Resurrections), to speed up the anticipation of its release.

“It’s a date!! [heart emoji]“, read his caption. “I star alongside the beautiful @PriyankaChopra and the brilliant @CelineDion in the romantic comedy #LoveAgainMovie”

Heughan also dropped the 2023 release date for the heartwarming film, which was previously set around Valentine’s Day, May 12.

He added, “In theaters exclusively May 12th…featuring new music from Celine Dion!?!?”

As you’d expect, the Scot’s comments column lit up with enthusiastic responses, with two followers writing: “What great news! Finally! So happy for you! Glad to see you in a comedy romantic” and “Mark my calendar now!”

Heughan will perform alongside Chopra Jonas, as well as iconic Celine Dion singer Russell Tovey (american horror story), Lydia West (It’s a sin) and Omid Djalili (Gladiator) in the upcoming romantic comedy.

The film’s synopsis (via Deadline) teases, “Mira Ray, dealing with the loss of her fiancé, sends a series of romantic texts to her old cell phone number…not realizing that the number has been reassigned to Rob Burns’ new work phone.”

“A journalist, Rob is captivated by the honesty of beautifully confessional writing. When tasked with writing a profile of megastar Celine Dion (playing herself in her first film role), he enlists her help to figure out how to meet Mira in person… and win her heart.“
