How the RX 7900 XTX compares to Nvidia’s RTX 3090 Ti

Thus, these two cards will work flawlessly in video games. According to AMD, the RX 7900 XTX should be 60-70% faster than the last-gen Radeon RX 6950 XT depending on the video game it’s being tested in. This marks a huge generational leap for AMD.

Since the RX 6950 XT is almost as fast as the RTX 3090 and around 7-8% slower than the RTX 3090 Ti, we can expect the Radeon RX 7900 XTX to be around 50-60% faster than the RTX 3090 Ti.

Although the performance metrics revealed by AMD are quite reliable, they should be taken with a grain of salt. This is because the numbers are derived in a controlled environment which might not truly replicate a player’s platform. So performance metrics may be slightly different in real life.

So, gamers should wait another few weeks until reviews of new graphics cards hit the market. Based on the results obtained by the examiners, it will be possible to draw better conclusions.
