During their time on the hit MTV series Laguna Beach which chronicled their time in high school, Kristin and Lauren seemed to have a big rivalry after dating Stephen.

In the teaser clip that Kristin shared on her Instagram, Stephen can be heard saying, “It’s another episode of Back to the Beach, with Kristin adding, ‘A very special episode.
A montage of fan comments was then photographed, with Lauren, 36, taking place during the podcast.
Kristin, 35, then says, “My point is you and I never really had beef and you can be brutally honest.”
Lauren replies, ‘And like watching it, that was my type…’ with her making a shocked face.

“Our little hurricane of a relationship,” Stephen said in the clip.
“If only we could get Lauren’s perspective on this…” Kristin says in the clip.
“But I’ll say this,” Lauren said, before bursting out laughing and saying, “That’s terrible.”
The season finale of their podcast with special guest Lauren will air on Tuesday.
The show ran from 2004 to 2006 following high school students at a high school in Laguna Beach, California.

The students centered on the show were Lauren, Stephen, Kristin, Lo Bosworth, Trey Phillips, Talan Torriero, Morgan Olsen, and Christina Schuller.
Stephen was at the center of a love triangle between himself, Lauren and Kristin.
Stephen and Kristin dated in high school before going their separate ways.
The show led to another successful spin-off, The Hills, centering on Lauren before she left the show before later following Kristin during their time in Los Angeles.
Their Dear Media podcast has been ordered for 40 episodes, with the two reality TV stars rewatching their show and chatting – 18 years after it first aired.

Kristin’s resume after her time on MTV includes acting roles, her own E! The docuseries called Very Cavallari from 2018 to 2020, as well as her clothing and jewelry brand Uncommon James.
Stephen was a VJ on MTV’s Total Request Live before launching his acting career – he starred in One Tree Hill from season four until the show ended after season nine.
He was also a writer/editor/producer and star of the comedy series Everybody’s Fine with former One Tree Hill bandmate James Lafferty.
The series debuted on Hulu in January 2021.
After Laguna Beach and The Hills, she founded the brands Paper Crown, Little Co. by Lauren Conrad and LC Lauren Conrad, as well as the online store The Little Market, a perfume called Loved; she is a bestselling author of nine books.
