Frankie Edgar’s UFC retirement fight is next. I remember going to his debut at UFC 67 (my first live event) when I was just a 16 year old fan. Now I am witnessing his struggle to resign from the press as a media member. A privilege. #UFC281

It ends horribly for Frankie Edgar. Gutierrez caught him with a knee to the chin, a one-hitter quitter, and the fight and Frankie’s career come to a quick and ignominious end. #UFC281

Chris Gutierrez brutally punches Frankie Edgar. Edgar lies stiff on the ground for a moment. Pooh. His children are at the cage. Big moment for Gutierez, he did what he had to do but I wish that’s how they didn’t book Edgar on the way out. He deserves to fight someone his age. Damned.

The answer deserved better. F’n hell. Delete that and remember UFC 112, 118, 125, 136 instead.

There’s no reason to let the legends fight the next generation. You can still promote the next generation by putting them on the same card without destroying a fighter’s legacy.
